Corporate Express sells office supplies directly to business customers, primarily through office supply stores and catalog sales. Recently, they opened a new direct-to-consumers channel using branded aisle space in select grocery stores. Interlock's value engineering of their key gondola fixture drove cost, weight and complexity out of the existing design resulting in less expensive shipping, easier installation and more durability in finish. Helping to reduce all-in costs means Corporate Express can expand their distribution without sacrificing the impact of their brand presence in the grocery store aisle.
Currently rolling out multiples of the new gondola fixture in stores across the Northeast, Corporate Express has now begun to give Interlock new fixtures to create and existing fixtures to improve. Exactly the kinds of challenges we enjoy.
